Bryan County filed Georgia DRI 4758 for Portman Industrial's Warner Tract proposal on September 21. The state record describes three warehouse and distribution buildings totaling about 2.02 million square feet on 178 acres across Bryan and Bulloch counties.
Why it matters
At the filed scale, the proposal would add a large two-county industrial complex near Ellabell, with a stated $121 million build-out value, 560 estimated full-time jobs and new water, sewer and road-access work.
What to watch
The Coastal Georgia Regional Commission must complete its advisory DRI review, and Bryan and Bulloch counties would still have to act on any local approvals and infrastructure arrangements required for the project.
