Woodfield Development has topped out Woodrow House, a 325-unit community on Woodrow Street SW in West End that fronts a new BeltLine spur off the Westside Trail, and started pre-leasing at rents from $1,300 to $3,000. Sixty-six of the units are set aside as workforce housing, and the project adds more than 12,000 square feet of retail plus live-work townhomes, with an existing building being adaptively reused as training space for a local coffee roaster.
Dynamik Design is the architect and Kimley-Horn handled civil engineering; Woodfield says the build has generated more than 900 construction jobs. Townhome deliveries were slated for this summer, with the first multifamily units following in the fall.
Why it matters
It's a direct test of whether new BeltLine-adjacent construction can hold workforce units at scale rather than pricing them out.
